It sits directly adjacent to Mountain America Stadium, which means the same parking constraints apply — Veterans Way and the surrounding lots are shared with the football complex, and event-night competition for spaces is real. The arena also hosts concerts, comedians, and graduation ceremonies throughout the year.

For school groups, a single bus means one entry into the group sales lane rather than eight parent cars scattered across three rows.
Groups of 20 or more qualify for discounted admission when booked in advance through the zoo's group sales team. Field trip buses unload at the main entrance off Galvin Parkway and wait in the overflow areas during the visit.
